We in Virginia’s First Congressional District allegedly are represented in Congress by Rob Wittman, Republican from Montross, Westmoreland County, VA.
So he’s our “representative?” You wouldn’t know it if you didn’t read it here.
WHERE IS ROB? We don’t know.
- Wittman refuses to release his schedule.
- He slips in and out of the district to meet with small, friendly groups
- The last real, open-to-the-public town hall meeting Wittman held was August 2010
While he refuses to hold town hall meetings in his district, he has plenty of time to hold meetings in Pascagoula, Mississippi.
Rob also has lots of time to visit at the Sili Plantation in Caroline County where he meets only with people who can write big checks. He also attends the Sili Plantation fox hunt . . . you know, an event open only to his wealthy supporters.
Top donors: Wittman’s top donors come from the defense industry with Huntington-Ingalls Shipyards and Northrop Grumman leading the way.
